Yokogawa has expanded its DLM5000 series of oscilloscopes with the DLM5000HD series, which features high resolution and improved usability for more accurate waveform analysis and easier setup. The series offers four 12bit models, including the DLM5058HD at 500MHz with eight channels and the DLM5058HD at 350MHz with eight channels.
The 16x increased fine detail compared to 8bit scopes is particularly beneficial for developers of inverters, allowing the observation of minute changes in high-speed signals. The maximum memory has also doubled from the 2020 DLM5000 scopes, with up to one billion points spread across up to 200,000 automatically-captured waveforms. This is useful for measuring braking system behavior and is backed up with various waveform search options. The max sample rate is 2.5Gsample/s.
The company offers four 12-bit models: DLM5058HD 500MHz 8-channel, DLM5058HD 350MHz 8-channel, DLM5054HD 500MHz 4-channel, and DLM5034HD 350MHz 4-channel. According to the company, these models provide 16 times more fine detail than 8-bit scopes, which is especially advantageous for inverter developers. This allows them to accurately observe even the slightest changes in high-speed signals. The company stated this.
